Japan-based classifieds and marketplaces operator Zigexn Inc. has acquired recruiting business Struct, which specializes in recruitment in the construction industry.

Acquired for an undisclosed sum, Struct operates from Kensetsu-jobs.struct-inc.co.jp.

Established two years ago, Struct sends job offers to users who are registered with Kensetsu-Jobs, which lists 6,820 jobs related to civil engineering, electrical and pipe works. Work consultation bears no fees. The startup has a share capital of Y10 million, according to a company’s announcement.

Zigexn Inc., founded in June 2006 and headquartered in Tokyo, is already involved in recruitment through healthcare and beauty job site operator ReJob, job aggregator Arubaito-ex.jp and HR consultation services.

Zigexn also operates real estate and auto marketplaces, including a car export site Tc-v.com (formerly Tradecarview.com), which the company acquired from Yahoo Japan in 2018.

The company plans to further strengthen its HR vertical, which is its mainstay business and accounts for almost half of its revenue.
