Germany-based auto marketplace Mobile.de and Bank11 will cooperate to provide car dealers with the means to sell vehicles through financing and on subscription.

Selected partner dealers can now offer financing options for motors. In addition, vehicles can also be acquired by subscription via Bank11’s Smive.de offer. With Smive, customers can take out car subscriptions at a fixed monthly price. Both subscriptions and financing are on offer to individuals and business customers, the companies said.

Mobile.de told media that Bank11 is the first provider on its platform to offer a vehicle subscription model alongside a financing option. Jörn Everhard, CEO of Bank11, hailed the credit institute’s “incredibly strong and digitally experienced partner in Mobile.de, where our financial services can be integrated digitally in an optimal and usual, simple way by our partner dealers.”

Mobile.de describes itself as Germany’s largest online automotive marketplace. It has around 1.5 million advertised passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorbikes. Every month, about 16 million users visit the website, which has more than 42,000 registered vehicle dealers.

Founded in 1996, Mobile.de employs about 270 people in Germany and is a subsidiary of Adevinta, the largest operator of online classifieds portals in Europe and worldwide.

Bank11 is a German credit institution specializing in sales and purchase financing for medium-sized motor vehicle dealers.
