Burcu Salingan Cilingir
Used-car buyer and digital auto retailer VavaCars has appointed Burcu Salingan Cilingir chief people officer, the company announced in a LinkedIn post.
Cilingir (LinkedIn profile) joins VavaCars from digital payment system provider Iyzico. Previously, she worked as an HR manager and then a director at e-commerce firm HepsiBurada.com, which is owned by Doğan Holding.
A graduate of Boğaziçi University, she was also a senior HR partner at IBM Global Services for eight years.
VavaCars, which is owned by Netherlands-based energy and commodity-trading company Vitol, said Cilinger will lead”internal growth processes in order to provide the highest standards for VavaCars.”
“We believe that her experience and background will help VavaCars’ growing processes and she will play a huge role in innovations,” said the company.
