Software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider in automotive MotorK is planning to acquire German inventory-management and e-commerce-software service provider WebMobil24, to expand its presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). MotorK is headquartered in Milan, Italy, with operations across the EMEA region. The company is listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange.

Based in Frankfurt am Main, WebMobil24 offers an online car-exchange marketplace. Covering the entire spectrum of vehicle inventory management, it provides IT services for car dealers, manufacturers and service providers.

WebMobil24, which was founded in 2000 by Volker Zweigler, has long-standing relationships with car manufacturers including Opel, Suzuki and Kia, according to a company statement. It is also active in the used-car business via the Romoto vehicle exchange, which is used by almost 10,000 dealers across Europe.

MotorK, founded in 2011, specializes in SaaS for the automotive trade in Europe. The group offers a suite of automotive-specific cloud-based modules to support customers in sales as well as their digital presence across the entire customer journey. It recently acquired Belgium-based provider Carflow.
