Job sites operator Wanted Lab recorded yet another outstanding performance in Q2 of FY2022 with steady growth in usage of its rectech services.

Wanted Lab, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, posted 78.1% year-on-year growth in sales revenue and a 103% jump in operating profit in Q2, according to the earnings announcement. On a sequential basis, the quarterly revenue increased 26%, while operating profit significantly grew 222%. Sales amounted to ₩13.8 billion ($10.6 million U.S.), very close to the annual revenue of FY2020. Operating profit totaled ₩3.9 billion ($3 million) in April-June.

Quarterly revenue from gigs marketplace division climbed 138% to ₩1 billion, showed the financial report.

Wanted Lab, founded in 2015 and listed on KOSDAQ last August, operates recruitment marketplace,, and other HR services. It also connects freelancers with side projects. Besides South Korea, the firm also manages job sites in Japan and in Singapore.

Currently, the rectech firm is beta-testing an AI-aided tool that harnesses 2 million actual acceptance data points to analyze resumes and recommends jobs to applicants. It also introduced a community section for open discussion on career choices and lifestyle.
