Used-car buyer and digital auto-retailer VavaCars has appointed Duncan James as its new head of product.
James, who announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post, has been promoted from group financial controller — a position he had held since March. The new head of product joined VavaCars as finance manager in January last year. He is an alumnus of U.K.-based multinational retailer Marks & Spencer where he also served in the finance department.
Based in London, James has an ACA, Accounting and Finance, from ICAEW and bachelor of science in Computer Science with Industrial Experience from the University of Manchester.
VavaCars, which is owned by Netherlands-based energy and commodity-trading company Vitol, currently operates in Turkey.
