Real estate SaaS company, Kterio, has secured $10 million in new funding in a round led by proptech VC firm Round Hill Ventures and including real estate investment management firm Brighton Ventures.

Kterio was founded towards the end of 2020 to address challenges of maintaining and managing the building of physical assets. It has offices in the U.S., U.K. and the Netherlands. It will use the funds to scale its business in Europe and North America, for product development and to expand sales and marketing.

The company uses a proprietary Building Digital Operating System (B-DOS) platform that lets building owners manage commercial and industrial building assets digitally, in real-time and to benchmark the performance of its systems, identify operations and maintenance issues and take appropriate action. The BDOS platform aggregates data from very different closed building systems such as HVAC, lighting, utility metering, and elevators and unifies them into a single platform.

“We are excited to have the support of Round Hill Ventures and Brighton Ventures as we look to scale our solutions to commercial and industrial markets across North America, the UK, and Europe,” said Joe Stolarski, Kterio CEO
