Zillow announced the launch of a new brand for its agent-focused products: “ShowingTime+.”
The brand brings together several familiar Zillow products:
- ShowingTime, the home tour scheduling platform that Zillow acquired in 2021
- Bridge Interactive, a service acquired in 2016 that helps MLSes and agents manage home-listing information
- DotLoop, a software suite acquired in 2015 that helps with organization and e-signatures of home-purchase documents
- 3D Home tours and interactive floor plans, technology Zillow built in-house for the creation of immersive online home presentations
“Zillow Group tends to think about homebuyers and home sellers as being the primary person they solve problems for,” ShowingTime+ SVP Jun Choo said in a statement to Inman. “It made sense for Zillow Group to have a division within Zillow that focuses on agents and the industry, so we took all of the pieces that we already had, brought them together, and then put them under one brand to signify this is a thing that’s going to be a focus for us.”
The new branding won’t impact the way the products work, Choo said. ““If you’re a customer of DotLoop or a customer of ShowingTime, those businesses are operating as they have before and [the change] will probably be completely invisible to you.”
The main change, he said, is that the products will be branded and marketed as a single package, while also encouraging more cross-selling.
The move is in keeping with Zillow’s strategic pivot in February of this year, going from IBuying to the building of the “Super App,” which CEO Rich Barton described as “an integrated digital experience in which Zillow connects all of the fragmented pieces of the moving process.”
