Susan Vitale is stepping down from her role as chief marketing officer at cloud-based human resources and recruiting software company ICIMS.
Vitale (LinkedIn profile) did not specify her reasons for leaving the company or her next project, merely saying she was “ready for new adventures.”
In a post on LinkedIn announcing her departure, Vitale wrote, “We’ve grown from ~30 employees and a few million in ARR to ~1400 employees and more than $350 million ARR. We acquired exciting companies, counted the world’s best brands as our customers, and won many awards. We’ve gone from an unknown company in Jersey to a global leader in HR technology.”
She added that she had spent 17 years at the SaaS vendor of human resources and recruitment tools.
“We built an enviable, predictable marketing machine that generated ~90% of the company’s revenue, and were way ahead of our time in so many areas of demand gen,” wrote the outgoing CMO.
New Jersey-based ICIMS offers an applicant tracking system, offer management product, and tools to support organizations’ diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. It says its services help employers attract, engage, hire, and advance workers.
In May, it announced an investment from private equity firm TA Associates, amid a drive step up global growth and product development expansion. The investment sum was not disclosed, although Reuters reported that the financing valued the company at in the region of a reported $3 billion, including debt.
The company scrapped plans for an initial public offering (IPO) amid a decline in stocks.
