U.K.-based used-car marketplace Motorway has signed a contract with AA Cars to become its exclusive partner for selling its cars.

AA Cars is part of motoring breakdown company The AA. It hosts quality used cars from U.K. car dealers. Motorway will manage all its vehicle valuations and sale inquiries.

Motorway will benefit by being able to connect with the AA’s more than 3 million members as well as other car owners who visit the organization’s website to seek motoring advice.

AA Cars’ vehicle valuation page will link directly to Motorway, so anyone who puts their car registration details into the page will be provided with an instant valuation from Motorway, giving them the option to sell their car from home, including a home-collection service option.

The deal with AA Cars is part of Motorway’s strategy to increase awareness of its platform amongst car owners to help it receive more and better-quality stock for dealers.

“As we focus on building a better used-car market for everyone, partnering with a brand as renowned as AA Cars is an important step in reaching even more car owners to sell their car through Motorway,” said Motorway sales director James Bush. “This partnership will help us ensure our stock levels continue to soar.”

Motorway unveiled updates to its website to expedite the search process for dealers in July, just days after publishing its H1 2022 financial results, which showed a 200% increase in used-car sales from its online marketplace to reach revenue for the period of $903 million U.S.
