HRCom has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from local investors to expand its workforce and develop new products, according to Ziyad Al Twaijri, the founder and CEO of Saudi Arabia-based recruitment SaaS startup.
Founded in March 2020, HRCom is a rectech company that is introducing automation tools across the entire hiring process, from candidate correspondence and resume screening to interview scheduling and job offers. It also operates a job search engine.
“We aim for HRcom to be the ideal solution for digitizing recruitment processes for different types of organizations, as we strive to be the best recruitment system provider for corporates in MENA [the Middle East and North Africa],” Al Twaijri said in a media statement.
Saudi Manpower Solutions Co. (SMASCO); Professional Recruitment; and Squadio, a workforce-as-a-service company for software developers, designers, data experts, product managers and project managers; participated in the funding round, in addition to a number of angel investors.
The kingdom’s online recruitment sector has been gaining the attention of investors recently. In October, ZenHR raised $10 million U.S. to expand beyond Riyadh, while Elevatus, another Riyadh-based company, closed a $10.5 million Series A funding round in September.
