Turkey-based real estate marketplace EmlakJet.com has given Mehmet Ozer the additional responsibility of working with property developers, according to a LinkedIn post.

Ozer, who was appointed head of JetSat—the marketplace’s IBuying operation—in November last, has been promoted to JetSat and projects director.

“I continue my duty in the EmlakJet family, in which I have been a JetSat director for a year, with new responsibilities. In the upcoming period, as JetSat and projects director, I will work to strengthen our collaborations by offering 360-degree sales and marketing solutions to all real estate developers, in addition to the existing JetSat operations,” Ozer (LinkedIn profile) wrote.

Founded in 2006 and acquired by ILab Ventures in 2014, EmlakJet is Turkey’s leading real estate marketplace in terms of both traffic and the number of new-build and off-plan property projects advertised on the site. ILab also owns auto vertical Arabam.com and recruitment marketplace Kariyer.net.

According to SimilarWeb, EmlakJet has more than 15 million monthly visitors, well ahead of its main rivals, HepsiEmlak.com (9.5 million) and Zingat.com (3.1 million). At the time of writing, EmlakJet had 2,389 postings from property developers, compared to figures of 2,059 and 959 for HepsiEmlak and Zingat, respectively.
