Nine months after the launch of Stellantis used-car portal SpotiCar in Germany, it has added more of the carmaker’s brands to its offer. “… following the merger with the FCA Group to form Stellantis, we will soon be able to offer our customers selected, inspected and serviced used cars from the Abarth, Fiat and Jeep brands,” said Harald Koch, director used cars at Stellantis, in a press release.

SpotiCar is the central certified used-car programme for Stellantis brands. It has replaced previous used-car portals like “Opel certified used cars,” “Citroën Select,” “Peugeot quality used cars” and now also “Jeep selected 4 you.” SpotiCar offers customers a vehicle warranty of up to 24 months without kilometre limitation. In addition to vehicles from Stellantis brands, customers can also find brands. To date, partners with a total of 736 locations have opted for SpotiCar in Germany, according to the company. The Stellantis Group sold 48,000 vehicles in Germany through SpotiCar during the first ten months of 2022, it added.

Based in the Netherlands, Stellantis describes itself as a global automaker and mobility service provider. It was founded in 2021 by a 50-50 merger of France-based PSA Group and the Italy- and U.S.A.-based conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. In 2021, Stellantis was the fifth-largest automaker in the world, behind Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai and General Motors.

This expansion of SpotiCar’s brand offer coincides with its launch of a marketing campaign in the German market with the tagline “Used. Guaranteed. Bought.” This will see the airing of a 15-second spot on private television stations between 13-20 Nov. This will be backed by a social media campaign that focuses on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

According to Stellantis, it has identified the used-car market as one of the seven value-adding business areas with excellent growth prospects. Its target is for SpotiCar to sell more than two million cars a year by the end of 2030.
