Full-stack HR tech company ERoad has completed its CNY 1 billion ($140 million U.S.) Series D funding round, co-led by two unnamed strategic and financial investment institutions.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Shanghai, China, ERoad provides services related to recruitment, on-boarding, data insights, payroll and human resource management, covering 310 cities in China and more than 20 countries around the world.

The latest funding will be used to improve the company’s platform-as-a-service products (PaaS) for both medium- and large-sized companies, according to a news release.

In addition to other HR services, ERoad provides comprehensive resumes and data support for personnel decision-making. “We can attract more competent talents for the company through a complete job positioning system and matching the market-synchronized salary structure,” it said.

According to Crunchbase, ERoad Software has so far raised $169 million U.S. in five funding rounds with investors including Zhejiang Silk Road Fund, Ivy Capital, SIG Asia Investments, Eastern Bell Capital, Hillhouse Capital Group.
