Germany-based vehicle subscription platform ViveLaCar will from now on offer motorhomes from brand dealers that can be booked on its subscription platform. The range runs from vans with pop-up roofs to extensively equipped alcoves.

The motorhomes will be available at a monthly all-inclusive price with no minimum term and only three months’ notice. Except for refueling, all fixed costs are included in the rate. Vehicle tax, comprehensive insurance from Switzerland-based Zurich, seasonal tires, maintenance, wear and tear, as well as a €1,000 ($1,048 U.S.) deductible in the event of damage, are all included.

Five packages are available to subscribers, ranging in monthly mileage from 800 to 3,500 kilometers. Customers can change the booked package every month. Booking and contract management are done entirely online. The corresponding authorized dealers are in charge of the handover and instruction.

Nuremberg-based automobile dealership Sonnleitner will serve as the pilot company for the new offer. “With ViveLaCar, we are opening up a new sales channel in the booming segment of the caravanning market,” managing director Kurt Schiffner told media.

ViveLaCar, a startup established in 2019 and based in Stuttgart, operates in over 500 locations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Cars are offered by the company on a subscription basis with no fixed contract.

It offers all well-known brands and models and has no affiliation with any specific brands. Vehicles come from approved brand vendors, according to the company. Its partners take care of the handover and return of their own vehicles, including maintenance and repairs. Customer service and the entire process, including insurance services, are handled by ViveLaCar.
