UAE-based marketplace-operator Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG) is deploying Google Workspace — a collection of cloud computing and cooperation tools — to enhance data security across of its businesses, according to a press release.

As a part of these efforts, EMPG has migrated its entire automated workloads to Google Workspace for cross-functional collaboration. This will bring the group’s entire team across 13 countries onto a single platform for data storage and retrieval.

“We aim to provide the best possible workplace experience for EMPG users across all sites, and that is enabled by seamless and secure access to the day-to-day productivity tools and data they need. EMPG is a large and dynamic company with diverse requirements, and we found in Google Cloud and SoftwareONE the right partners to help us in this journey towards a modernized workplace,” said Adrian Buda, EMPG’s head of business IT.

“All staff today leverage Google Workspace to securely share ideas and participate in projects, which in turn has resulted in better experience and productivity all around.”

EMPG is one of the world’s top-35 real estate marketplaces by revenue, according to the AIM Group’s estimates. Besides property verticals Zameen.com (Pakistan) and Bayut.com (UAE), EMPG operates classifieds sites, such as OLX, across the Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America. The group raised $200 million in investment in October 2022.
