“We aim to make the right investments and acquisitions with great leaders of digital businesses to grow Catcha Digital into the next digital behemoth in the public markets,” said Grove, who has over 20 years of experience in the digital media and technology industry.
Catcha Digital has also completed the acquisition of another digital company, IMedia Asia Sdn Bhd, for about $9.8 million U.S. in cash and shares, as it completes its regularization plan for its IPO.
The company now owns a fast-growing integrated digital media solutions provider, with a comprehensive portfolio of digital marketing tools, able to reach 12.7 million Malaysians a month and service over 100 brands a year across several industries, it says. It plans to continue executing strategic moves and explore new opportunities that will drive the company’s growth in the digital and technology industry in Southeast Asia.
At the beginning of the year, Catcha Digital Bhd appointed Eric Tan Leong Yit as group CEO, as which he is in charge of driving organic growth and expansion opportunities, and value-adding mergers and acquisitions.
