Lamudi Indonesia, a real estate marketplace owned by Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG), has signed a cooperation agreement with Bank Mandiri to provide the latter with mortgage referrals.
Lamudi and Bank Mandiri said they would work together to improve the financial literacy of prospective homebuyers before they applied for a mortgage with regard to credit scoring, document checking, calculating monthly installments and understanding the loan’s terms and conditions.
“The majority of Lamudi.co.id users choose the mortgage payment method when buying a house. We are sure that Lamudi.co.id users can get the best service for their mortgage application process,” explained Mart Polman, CEO of Lamudi.co.id.
The property portal added that, as an end-to-end service provider, it paid special attention to improving the financial literacy of homebuyers.
According to Lamudi, the approval rate for mortgage applications submitted through it stood at 52% between June and December 2022.
