Italy-based telecommunications network Wind Tre, which is owned by Hong Kong-based conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings, has launched Reload exChange, which its says allows customers to sell their used smartphones in just a few minutes.
To sell their smartphone, consumers must go to the Wind Tre Reload Exchange website or download a smartphone app and complete a few steps before receiving an offer for their device. If they wish to accept the offer, they then bring the smartphone to a Wind Tre store and either receive payment directly to their bank account or put it towards the cost of a new phone.
Wind Tre will accept more than 200 models of smartphones, with the maximum valuation set at €800 ($857 U.S.).
