Spain-based freelancer marketplace Outvise has appointed Johanna Granda as partner, according to the latter’s LinkedIn post.
Prior to joining Outvise, Granda co-founded Dares Technology, a provider of ground-deformation mapping services for companies in the oil and gas and mining sectors, where she was chief commercial officer. She remains on the company’s board of directors.
She has also worked as a commercial director and business advisor at Iris, a supplier of quality-monitoring systems to the food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and was director of sales and marketing at Tre Altamira, which uses satellites and radar to measure ground displacement.
Granda has degrees in law and foreign languages (English, French and Spanish) from the University of Passau in Germany, in addition to an MBA from the same institution.
Headquartered in Barcelona, Outvise’s marketplace covers workers in such sectors as IT, big data, digital marketing, project management and finance. Its clients include Capgemini, Oliver Wyman, EY, Vodafone and O2.
In December 2022, the company forecast that its revenue for the year as a whole would reach €11 million ($11.9 million U.S.), up from €6.1 million in 2021.
