Turkey-based horizontal Sahibinden.com has informed the Turkish data protection authority of a data breach that has affected hundreds of its generally corporate users.

In a notice to the Personal Data Protection Authority, Sahibinden says the data breach occurred due to a cyberattack.

The compromised personal data leaked over the internet comprises e-mail addresses, user ID, usernames, surnames, store names, phone numbers, account registration dates, user types, store numbers, package category, status, and period, product type and similar.

The data breach was detected late last month, with an estimated 71,422 users affected. However, it was not determined when exactly the data was siphoned off.
