Japan-based marketplace operator MyNavi has made yet another investment in Southeast Asia, injecting “several million U.S. dollars” into an enterprise management software company, DealStreetAsia reports, citing a top company official.
1Office raised the Series A funding from MyNavi, according to the report, which estimated the investment sum at around $5 million.
Established in 1973, MyNavi is one of the leading companies in Japan, managing a variety of job sites, edtech and rectech services. It billed $1.3 billion in revenue for the fiscal year to Sept. 30, 2022.
The company also holds strategic ownership stakes in numerous recruitment services beyond its home turf, in India and Southeast Asia.
The latest investment followed the group’s participation in the Series B funding round of Philippines-based HRtech company Sprout Solutions. MyNavi also acquired an Indonesia-based crowdsourcing site and freelancer marketplace in 2021.
Founded in 2015 and based in Hà Nội, Vietnam, 1Office provides an array of work automation, recruitment and HR management services to more than 450,000 users from more than 5,000 Vietnam-based businesses.
