Montreal-based recruitment software company and employee experience provider GSoft has announced it has rebranded to become Workleap.

According to the company, the decision was part of an important strategic move that supports its mission to make work “simpler, kinder and faster.”

Earlier this year the company launched Softstart, a software tool that makes employee onboarding more interesting and efficient and Talentscope, a software tool designed to help hiring teams map and assess their skills more effectively.

Earlier this year, the company also acquired Didacte, a learning management system designed to build, manage and monitor employee training. According to the company, the rebranding of GSoft to Workleap reflects the company’s aim to expand and unify its software products to deliver more value to its customers.

Workleap recently announced an investment of $125 million CAD from CDPQ to support growth through acquisition to help the rebranded company become a long-term partner for businesses in a digitally connected workforce.

“Workplaces need a software update to bring their full team together and create a unified experience, and Workleap can do that,” said Simon De Baene, co-founder and CEO of Workleap.
