Bengaluru-headquartered proptech startup Crib has raised INR150 million ($1.8 million U.S.) in a seed funding round, website Entracker reports.

The funding round was led by WeFounderCircle, a network of startup founders, and Rebright Partners. Notable participants included Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Kunal Shah, Ghazal Alagh, Ramakant Sharma, Sandeep Aggarwal, Ravi Bhushan and Ankur Aggarwal.

In January 2022, Crib raised $400,000 in pre-seed round.

“Within 12 months of launch, we have built a solid foundation across 10+ cities in India, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Delhi NCR. Over 500 landlords managing up to 100,000 rental units are collecting an annual rental revenue of $110 million U.S. on Crib’s SaaS platform,” said Shaifali Jain, the company’s COO and CPO.

Crib plans to use this funding to expand products and scale distribution to major cities in India.

Founded in 2022 by Jain, Sunny Garg and Archit Chauhan, Crib’s marketplace offers tenants a search-and-discovery platform and landlords a dedicated app for tenant onboarding, staff management, handling complaints, payment collection, inventory management and more.
