Keyro’s core market is U.K. residents seeking to relocate or acquire a second hand in southern Europe. According to the company, it currently has close to 900,000 properties listed for sale or rental — 450,000 in Spain, 250,000 in Portugal, 200,000 in France and 45,000 in Italy.

Coles (LinkedIn profile), who was previously the company’s managing director and EOS Integrator, will take over the running of Kyero from Martin and Louise Dell, who founded it in 2003 with an initial investment of £5,000 ($6,375 U.S.), website BusinessLive reports.

Prior to joining Kyero, which is headquartered in Bath, Coles was managing director of Bristol-based app developer Mubalo for almost a decade. She has a BA in design management, branding and multinational communications from De Montfort University.

Kyero co-founder Louise Dell said: “Gemma has delivered consistent and impressive growth across the business over the last three years, despite a series of significant challenges within the international property market.”

“At the same time, she has always ensured that Kyero’s founding ethos as a business with heart and soul has always been at the forefront, not least through her leading the work to achieve B Corp status in 2022.”

Certified B Corporations (B Corps) are companies verified by B Lab as meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

Website BusinessLeader reports that Kyero had revenue of £4.0 million ($5.1 million) in 2022.
