Dubai-based vehicle marketplace Seez has announced the launch of a ChatGPT-powered chatbot, Seezar, for the automotive industry in the Middle East and Europe. 

Seezar is the latest, technologically superior edition of its more traditional chatbot Ceaser, released in 2017. 

“We launched an AI chatbot six years ago. It was probably too early at the time,” said Seez CEO Tarek Kabrit. “But now, with the latest development in ChatGPT, the increased level of digitization at the dealerships and the openness of customers to complete big parts of their purchase journey online, we feel it all coming together very nicely to usher in a new era in the way people search for and buy cars, and we are very glad to be playing a part in it.”

The Seezar app is designed to cover a range of business areas starting with customer support, and soon expected to include sales and lead management. It will also be working in conjunction with the company’s omnichannel showroom platform, SeezPad, which includes CRM functions and is also focused on lead management. The company believes that combining the two will improve the customer experience. 

Seez wants the AI-powered tool to assist dealers in understanding and analyzing data and information, before making personalized recommendations and targeting marketing with greater accuracy. 

With the automotive market embracing AI technology, Seez recently raised an undisclosed amount of funding, with MENA-based Nuwa Capital and Oman Group among the investors.
