Candidate experience competitors Starred and Talenthub have announced their merger to help global employers attract and retain workforce with useful insights.

Starred, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Amsterdam, North Holland, is linked with an applicant tracking system to directly collect feedbacks of candidates through surveys during various stages of recruitment and furnish analytical reports to pinpoint and address gaps., established in 2017 as a spin-off of a recruitment marketing agency, also collates anonymous candidate feedback through surveys dispatched with the ATS flow.

“Together, our candidate feedback platform will reach more than 10 million candidates every year, encompassing over 10 million yearly survey replies, and providing more than 200 organizations with insights to improve candidate experience and make data-driven decisions to strengthen their recruitment,” wrote Lars van Wieren, CEO of Starred in a blog.

“The vision for the united company is to take the learnings from both platforms and combine into a joint solution suite with the same mission: to make the experience of hiring and getting hired more enjoyable. The newly joint company will announce more about their solution later this year.”

According to Van Wieren, knowing candidate experience is crucial as Starred found that unsatisfied candidates “are 62% less likely to accept a job offer.”
