Global video interviewing platform Spark Hire has acquired talent assessment platform Chally for an undisclosed amount, according to a news release.
The acquisition will enable Spark Hire, which is based in Illinois and was founded in 2010, to expand its talent acquisition site to thousands of companies globally, according to the company.
Chally, based in Dayton, Ohio, was founded in 1973 and provides assessment report of potential hires to clients, including some in the Fortune 500. It aims to help companies make successful and efficient appointment of leaders and employees. Its assessments use a mix of science and technology to provide detailed information on candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, attitude, work ethic and other key characteristics.
It also offers an integrated suite of proprietary tools to allow clients to gain insights into the overall performance of teams within an organization and to help align individual employees with the organization’s goals. The combination of the two companies will offer a comprehensive talent assessment platform, the company said.
“The acquisition of Chally is a major milestone for Spark Hire. It will help us expand our suite of innovative and trusted candidate assessment tools and deepen our commitment to providing the best and most effective interviewing experience in the industry,” shared Josh Tolan, CEO of Spark Hire.
Spark Hire said its platform will continue to operate as normal and no action is required from its customers. The company also said it will continue to invest in developing the platform with new features and products coming in the near future.
In June, Spark Hire merged with leading ATS provider Comeet.
