LinkedIn is rolling out its new generative AI feature as part of its flagship product for businesses, LinkedIn Sales Navigator (LSN).
In a post, Abhai Singh, the company’s head of sales solution, India, said it was building AI functionalities into LSN, which lets sales teams optimize their strategies and approaches by harnessing the network’s expansive data, insights and relationship-building tools. The career networking platform has introduced two generative AI features, AI-assisted search and Account IQ, in LSN.
“The two new generative AI (GAI) features for Sales Navigator are available to a limited number of customers in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America in this initial pilot, and we look forward to sharing more as we continue to evolve the Sales Navigator experience,” Singh wrote.
The AI-assisted search feature is intended to give users accurate and instant results for nuanced queries, while Account IQ consolidates critical account information from varied sources into a concise overview. LinkedIn said that about 69% of sales professionals worldwide are expecting a surge in AI use in the next six months. The corresponding figure is slightly higher in India, at 73%.
In February, LinkedIn clocked 100 million members in India — its biggest user base in any country outside the U.S.
