Baltimore-based recruitment platform Catalyte has closed a $1.5 million funding round led by Green Street Impact Partners, according to a statement from Catalyte.

This is the second funding round of that amount in less than three months. Catalyte said it will use this latest funding to accelerate the growth of its apprenticeship programs to provide employers with vetted talent.

Catalyte was founded in 2000 and uses data on employee performance to allow both public and private sector organizations make effective hires to increase productivity and reduce costs.

It provides an AI-powered reskilling platform for organizations to help new staff develop new careers, regardless of their background. It aims to remove bias from the hiring process. It uses more than 500 data points to find and develop high-potential talent

Its clients include Nike and GroupM. The company currently offers apprenticeships in software development, sales, digital media, cyber security, IT services and project management.
