Alma Consumer, a division of Finland-based digital services and publishing company Alma Media that includes real estate and automotive marketplaces, saw revenue and adjusted EBITDA decrease in both Q3 2023 and the first nine months of the year.

Alma Consumer includes the multi-channel news and lifestyle media Iltalehti, real estate vertical, rental site and automotive marketplace It also includes such price-comparison sites as Autojerry, Urakkamaailma and Etua.

Revenue at Alma Media fell by 3.0% year on year (y-o-y) to €24.7 million ($26.0 million U.S.) in Q3 2023, while its adjusted EBITDA fell by 12.7% y-o-y to €7.2 million ($7.6 million U.S.).

Revenue at its property marketplace business decreased by 6.5% y-o-y to €4.5 million in Q3 2023, while revenue at its automotive marketplace fell by 1.3% y-o-y to €6.2 million.

In the first nine months of the year (Q1-Q3 2023), revenue at Alma Media amounted to €75.2 million ($79.2 million U.S.), down 2.8% y-o-y, while adjusted EBITDA declined by 13.1% y-o-y to €19.7 million ($20.8 million U.S.).

Alma Media is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Apart from its domestic market, the company also operates in Sweden, the Baltics, and Central Europe.
