OLX.ua, the leading marketplace horizontal in Ukraine, has begun to charge all sellers who use its delivery service 1% of the item’s sale price plus a flat fee of UAH10 ($0.28 U.S.) — extending a scheme that had previously only been applied to a limited number of categories.
Until the beginning of this month, this fee had only been applied to Tools, Food and Drink, Interior Furniture and Home and Garden.
The company claims that the fee will help to improve the user experience with regard to deliveries.
“You will not lose money for transportation and return if the customer cancels the deal or he doesn’t come to the post point,” an OLX Ukraine representative said.
