Digital Classifieds Group (DCG) has named a new chief marketing officer Salvatore Britti and appointed Mohammad Rafatnejad as its chief operating officer.

Australia-based DCG recently started a leadership reshuffling following acquisition of real estate marketplace Lamudi in Indonesia and the Philippines as well as from Dubizzle Group (formerly EMPG).

Rafatnejad succeeded Britti who moved to his new position after leading tech, R&D and marketing at DCG for almost three years.

Prior to joining DCG, Rafatnejad was the chief commercial officer at classifieds marketplace, which automotive marketplace Carro bought from then EMPG.

He also has other marketplace feathers on his cap and the prominent among them was his founding and leading, once the leading real estate marketplace in Iran; now it’s nonoperational.

Rafatnejad also worked as senior growth director at Turkey-based real estate marketplace He is a master’s degree holder in marketing management from Allameh Tabataba’i University and also did bachelor’s in materials engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

Britti has been associated with DCG for more than nine years with specialty in product development and marketing.

He studied marketing with minor in communication at the University of Miami and holds bachelor’s degree with major in marketing and minor in communication from John Cabot University.

Founded in 2013, DCG is active in five countries with property sites, (Indonesia), (Philippines), (Cambodia), (Bangladesh) and (Papua New Guinea).
