Netherlands-based auto site ViaBovag.nl has introduced financing and insurance services a couple of days after auto fintech service Bovemij decided to make it independently-operating entity.
To offer financing and insurance products to consumers and car companies, ViaBovag.nl is working with comparison website Geld.nl and Dealer Totaal Concept, an auto lease and financing mediator, according to Bovag,
“Advertisements from car companies on ViaBovag.nl have a standard reference to a financing solution from DTC or Geld.nl. Unless you have provided your own financing solution or have indicated that you do not want to use a financing solution,” said Bovag.
“One of the differences with Geld.nl is that DTC not only offers financing for consumers, but also for business customers. We will immediately start a pilot with DTC’s financing solutions to see whether there is a market need for financial lease, a lease form for business customers. This offers you as an advertiser more opportunities to successfully sell business cars on ViaBovag.nl.”
ViaBovag already allows advertisers to market their own financing or insurance offerings. Now when a user views an ad, a reference to financing and insurance from partner companies is also displayed.
ViaBovag.nl, an initiative of trade association BOVAG, is a repository of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, caravans and campers for sale from Bovag’s more than 8,000 entrepreneurs.
With around 93,000 car ads, it poses competition to auto marketplaces, AutoTrack.nl and AutoScout24.nl, which had 221,316 and 232,558 listings, respectively, at the time of filing.
