Goo-Net.com, one of the leading automotive marketplaces in Japan, has rolled out new functions on its app that it says will improve communication and increase information transparency.
These include an in-app talk feature that enables users to communicate with car dealers. Moreover, users can save their favorite listings and be notified of new ads that meet their price or other search criteria.
Goo-Net has also added articles about new and used cars and “general mobility lifestyle trends” to the app.
Goo-Net is owned by Proto Corp., which is one of the world’s leading auto marketplace operators by revenue, according to AIM Group. Its competitors include Recruit Holdings’ CarSensor.net and CarView.Yahoo.co.jp.
