Motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has launched ‘Reown,’ a certified used-motorcycle program, in India.

According to a report, Reown allows customers to buy used Royal Enfield motorcycles from authorized dealers, and existing owners to sell their motorcycles to the company. As part of the program, Royal Enfield performs quality checks, certifies the secondhand motorcycles, and provides warranty and two free services.

“We see Reown as an initiative to address the issue of accessibility and trust that customers have when purchasing used Royal Enfield motorcycles,” said Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan. “With our wide retail network, and an even wider ecosystem of Enfield collectors and workshops, we have the ability to bring together an array of used Royal Enfield motorcycles to aspiring riders.”

The Reown service is currently available in five Indian cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata — and is likely to be expanded to more cities in 2024.

Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Chennai, Royal Enfield is the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production.
