Adevinta-owned, the leading automotive marketplace in Germany, has appointed Katrin Sauer as head of product. She has been with the company for almost four years as a senior product manager and product lead in its transactional services department.

“I’ll be putting a laser focus on consumer orientation and specification. Together with the whole team, I will be deeply involved in understanding our users’ needs and translating these insights into specific product features. Our goal is to create a dynamic, user-focused experience that resonates with our consumers’ evolving needs,” Sauer said.

Prior to joining, she was a product owner and agile and product coach at digital transformation company Leanovate GmbH. She has an M.A. in communication science and journalism from Freie Universität Berlin. also recently announced that Christin Schink, currently global product director at Berlin-based meal-kit company HelloFresh, would join the company as chief product officer in April. was a strong driver of Adevinta’s Q3 2023 results. During this period, the average number of dealer live listings on the site rose by 19% year on year to around 1.3 million, while average revenue per listing increased by 10% to €24 ($26 U.S.).

These factors, coupled with the successful launch of new packages and features, helped’s EBITDA margin to reach 62.2%.
