Otomoto.pl, the leading auto vertical in Poland, has tied up with the insurance comparison platform Punkta and the loan provider Cofidis. The companies have decided to jointly offer a voucher of up to PLN1,300 ($323 U.S.) for car insurance when a car is purchased with financing through Otomoto Pay, according to a report on Polish news site Cashless.pl.

The voucher applies only to insurance offered by Punkta. Users can use the voucher for the full amount for more expensive third-party liability (OC) policies, or if the customer also opts for comprehensive (AC) coverage. Any surplus beyond PLN1,300 can be settled through fast payment, deferred payment, or included in the car installments.

The offer is available to all Otomoto users who take out a car loan ranging from PLN18,000 ($4,464 U.S.) to PLN100,000 ($24,802 U.S.) from Cofidis. It is valid until the end of July this year.

Otomoto launched Otomoto Pay to help users finance car purchases in December 2022. It enables users to browse offers from over 20 financial institutions and apply for a loan or leasing. The service automatically assesses the creditworthiness of applicants and, if approved, disburses the loan directly into their bank account within minutes. Additionally, users can receive three vehicle history reports from autoDNA as part of the service.

Otomoto received 36.5 million visits in December and is far ahead of other auto sites in Poland in terms of web traffic. These include Abris Capital Partners’ Aaaauto.pl, with 720,613 visits, and Auto Centrum’s Autotrader.pl, with 70,810 visits, according to SimilarWeb.
