Leading Russia-based horizontal Avito is holding a tender among social media influencers for a contract to promote the brand, Russia-based marketing site AdIndex reports, citing Violetta Zubkova, director of media procurement at Avito.
The winner of a one-year contract, said Zubkova, as quoted by AdIndex, would develop a strategy for working with bloggers, selecting channels, monitoring placements and completing brand building and promotion tasks.
Avito did not disclose details of the tender or the contract budget to AdIndex, saying that it would depend on business development objectives.
In a ranking of the largest advertisers in Russia compiled by AdIndex for 2022, Avito rose from 60th to 22nd place. Its total spend on advertising across all media (TV, outdoor advertising, radio, press) in 2022 came to RUB3.0 billion ($33.0 million U.S.).
