Munich-based Scout24, the operator of Germany’s leading real estate marketplace, ImmoScout24.de, is expanding its management board with Gesa Crockford (above), who will act as the company’s chief commercial officer as of Apr. 1. She will be responsible for the sales organization, along with managing customer service, CRM and sales analytics functions.

Since 2016, Crockford has held several management roles at ImmoScout24. Her responsibilities have included overseeing specific aspects of the product organization, as well as managing pricing, analytics and growth. As managing director of ImmoScout24, a position she has held since April 2022, she has overseen sales, customer service and CRM.

Alongside working for Scout24, Crockford has sat on the board at real estate software developer FlowFact Schweiz AG and HomeGate, one of Switzerland’s leading real estate marketplaces, owned by the Swiss Marketplace Group (SMG). Prior to her tenure at Scout24, Crockford was managing director of Conomic, a management consultancy specializing in market research, marketing, strategy development and IT and process consulting.

Crockford said she was aiming to “drive new innovations and forge further partnerships” within the company’s digital offering.

“Gesa Crockford has made a valuable contribution to the group over many years,” said Hans-Holger Albrecht, chairman of the supervisory board at Scout24 SE. “By appointing her to the management board, we are underlining the great importance of our commercial clients with a clear responsibility. As managing director of ImmoScout24, Gesa Crockford has already proven that she can drive forward the dynamics of sales and continue to provide new service and growth impulses.”

Tobias Hartmann, CEO of Scout24 SE, added that Crockford’s expertise in the real estate market and clear focus on customer needs would further drive the “development of the networked marketplace” for real estate.

Founded in 1998, Scout24 is headquartered in Munich, with further locations in Berlin, Cologne and Vienna. The Germany-based digital company owns online real estate marketplace ImmoScout24, the leading Germany-based real estate classified site.
