Auto24.ma, an auto marketplace owned by Auto24.Africa, has rolled out what it describes as “zero-markup” car financing in Morocco in collaboration with financial services provider Eqdom.

Auto24.Africa recently launched Auto24 in Morocco and three other markets — Rwanda, Senegal and South Africa.

Based in Ivory Coast, Auto24.Africa — a subsidiary of Africar Group — buys used cars from individuals and dealers before reconditioning and selling on. Last month, it acquired Tanzania-based classifieds site Kupatana.com.

Auto24.ma currently features 91 certified used cars. The leading auto vertical in Morocco is Moteur.ma, which is owned by Frontier Digital Ventures. The latter is based in Malaysia and listed on the Australian stock exchange.
