Mobility specialist Alexander Reissigl has been promoted to head of Auto & Motor at WillHaben, the leading classifieds website in Austria. In his new role, Reissigl will be responsible for the automotive sales and support team as well as for vehicle management software AutoPro24’s sales and support team.

“I am very much looking forward to further developing the Auto & Motor division with the great teams in the WillHaben Motor Network. Our main focus is to prepare for the unstoppable transformation in the automotive sector while continuing to deliver the greatest added value to our users and customers,” he said.

Reissigl, who joined WillHaben in 2018 and in his last role was leading the business development team, said he would work towards further consolidating WillHaben’s Motor Network amid “numerous upheavals in the industry.”

“As a team lead in the business development area, he played a key role in developing our strategy in the Auto & Motor area as well as our new products in the WillHaben Motor Network. I am impressed by his vision and goals and look forward to working together even more intensively,” said WillHaben’s managing director Sylvia Dellantonio.

Founded in 2006, Vienna-based WillHaben is jointly owned by Austria-based media company Styria Media Group AG and Norway-based marketplace operator Schibsted.
