Used-car trader VavaCars has named Serdıl Gözelekli (pictured) as its new chief revenue officer.

Gözelekli got his new position after supervising retail matters of Turkey-based VavaCars first as retail director and secondly as chief retail officer.

VavaCars, which was founded in 2019 and raised more than $100 million U.S., valued 3.5 million vehicles in 2023. Its after-sales service arm last month became an approved damage repair center for Tesla electric vehicles (EVs) in Istanbul.

VavaCars buys used cars directly from consumers and offers them to its dealer network. It is backed by Vitol Group, the world’s largest independent oil trader headquartered in London.
