The company has rebranded its “Naukri First” product as Naukri Campus, “with a mission to empower the next generation of professionals.” The company said it has attracted 1.5 million students from about 20,000 colleges across India.

Naukri said it would sponsor an “All India Campus Aptitude Test” this weekend withcash prizes of 1 million rupees ($12,000 U.S.), and an opportunity for students who finish in the 99th and 100th percentile to earn paid internships with companies including Naukri and co-owned Jeevansathi, 99Acres and, along with NewGen, Asper, Zenith Solutions and other companies.

“ has been instrumental in shaping successful careers for millions of professionals over the year,” chief business officer Pawan Goyal said. “With the launch of Naukri Campus, we’re bridging the gap between academia and industry, offering students a seamless transition into the professional realm.”

Sumeet Singh, CMO of Naukri parent company Info Edge (India) Ltd., said Naukri Campus “aims to make [college students] career-ready by providing the right resources … and make them ready for the professional world that lies ahead.”
