Julia Riethmüller and Steffen Naumann have joined Mobile.de, the dominant automotive marketplace in Germany, as sales directors. They assume the responsibilities previously held by Martin Fräder, who led the sales team from July 2019 until March 2024, reporting to CSO Florian Baur.

“We have been able to gain two reinforcements with great leadership skills who will support our development into the central marketing and technology partner of the automotive industry. By reorganizing our sales staff, we want to advise our customers even more individually on how to get the best out of Mobile.de,” said Baur.

Riethmüller joined the company on April 1. She was previously head of sales and marketing at electric mobility platform E-Mobilio, head of business development at car dealership Kuhn & Witte and head of car sales at car trading group Beresa.

Naumann joined Mobile.de last month. He was previously director of commercial sales at corporate travel app Navan, regional manager at Just Eat Takeaway.com and a b-to-b sales manager at Paypal.

During the announcement, Baur said that Mobile.de intended to “involve retailers even more than before in the development and improvement of market-relevant products.”

Adevinta-owned Mobile.de has around 1.4 million advertisements live on the site at any time, reaching 20 million users per month.

Spun off from Norway-based Schibsted in 2019, Adevinta owns and operates marketplaces — such as LeBonCoin and Milanuncios — across six core Western European markets — Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands. It also has joint ventures in Ireland (with Daft in Distilled Media) and in Brazil (with Prosus in OLX-Brazil).
