, one of the leading auto marketplaces in Japan, has agreed to provide customer referrals to car trader Mota, according to a news release from the latter.

Founded in 1999, Mota (formerly Autoc-One — the new name is an acronym for “move on, travel around”) says it is used by more than 50,000 secondhand car sellers a month. It utilizes a pre-assessed system that minimizes sellers’ interactions with dealers.

The collaboration will help Mota broaden its points of contact by coordinating customer referrals with Carview.

Carview has almost 500,000 used car listings — a similar level to competitors Goo-Net and

Carview had 13.9 million visits in March 2024, compared to the Goo-Net’s 21.1 million and CarSensor’s 26.3 million, according to Similarweb data.
