Dubai-based real estate marketplace MetaHomes has announced it is dropping fees on property transactions for a limited period.

As well as listing various properties, including apartments for long-term rent, homestays, hotels, vacation homes and office space, the company provides real estate services using a combination of AI, virtual reality and Internet of Things.

CEO Jerry Wu announced the initiative, which is intended to encourage buyers and renters within the market to contribute to an already flourishing real estate landscape whilst saving on fees.

Founded in 2022, MetaHomes puts technology at the forefront of many of its products. Downloadable as an app, it offers video tours and VR tours to its customers, as well as an AI assistant, called “Kylin”. The company also offers a home value estimator to help customers gauge what price they should be asking or paying for properties, and has a large database of real estate agents to which it helps customers connect.
