Alma Media-owned car vertical NettiAuto has launched a new service called “Fiksut Kaupat” to facilitate secure and easy car transactions between individuals.

The service ensures safe transactions through electronic identification of buyers and sellers, secure payment by a trusted intermediary, and guidance throughout the process, including handling paperwork and insurance.

Sellers can signal their reliability with a “Fiksut Kaupat” badge in their listing. This badge signifies that the seller’s information is retrieved from the Traffic Matters Register, ensuring transparency and trustworthiness.

NettiAuto is the largest auto vertical in Finland. It was acquired by Alma Media in 2021, together with several other niche marketplaces.

In addition to NettiAuto, Alma Media’s automotive portfolio includes auto marketplace AutoTalli.com, auto-repair comparison site AutoJerry.fi, and c-to-b marketplace Baana.

Apart from its domestic market, Alma Media also operates in Sweden, the Baltics, and Central Europe. It is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
