Carwow, the U.K.-based used car marketplace, has partnered with comparison service Go.Compare to give its customers advice and information about car insurance.

The 12-month partnership will see the Carwow website feature guides from Go.Compare about how customers can reduce their car insurance premiums.

The content will be featured on a car insurance hub on Carwow, as well as in the Carwow newsletter.

Paul Rogers, Director of Marketing at Go.Compare, said: “Insurance is a significant cost for anyone who has a car, and at a time when insurance premiums are still increasing, we are finding that more and more motorists want to take control of their costs, understand how their policy works and make informed decisions about the cover they need.”

Car insurance in the U.K. increased 25% in 2023, compared to 2022, according to the Association of British Insurers. The average comprehensive car insurance quote is now £635 ($808 U.S.), up 1% on Q4 2023.

Sepi Arani, Commercial Director at Carwow, said: “Now more than ever, with the rise of electrification, new brands on sale and the continued desire from consumers to get the best product for their specific needs, getting the right level of cover from the right provider at the best price is key and no one does this in a more positive way than Go.Compare.”

In May, Auto Trader teamed up with price comparison site MoneySuperMarket to allow users to compare insurance quotes for cars, vans and bikes during their vehicle searches.
