Vijay Arisetty, founder and chairman of MyGate — an India-based community management service that includes a property marketplace — has been appointed CEO of home security startup Aurm, Entrackr reports.MyGate

This comes a month after MyGate announced a major corporate restructuring that saw co-founder and then CEO Vijay move to the role of chairman. According to Arisetty’s LinkedIn profile, he will remain in his role at MyGate. Arisetty was replaced as CEO by fellow co-founder Abhishek Kumar.

Although Aurm launched earlier this year, it now describes Arisetty as one of its four co-founders.

Aurm describes itself as a provider of “avant garde” community-level safe deposit lockers in “military grade” strongrooms. It also offers surveillance services.

Aurm could synergize with MyGate due to the latter’s established presence in scores of communities nationwide, but no suggestion to that effect has yet been made.

Founded in 2016, MyGate is a community management app with features such as visitor management, bill payments and repair scheduling. In 2021, it added a property listings section called Homes to its app. In May this year, the company secured an aggregator license from the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India.
